Moscow, 1986. Perestroika. Although the USSR is still a powerful country
largely closed to visitors, some foreigners begin to stream to Moscow, along
with washed-out jeans and forbidden videos... The protagonist is Borya
Fishkin, a 14-year-old boy who lives with his mother in a Moscow suburb.
He studies at the prestigious school of the Bolshoi Theatre. Unexpectedly
Borya learns that the well-known dissident and dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov
is his real father. And everything in his life changes...
